KMPlayer

What is it?

MPlayer/Xine/ffmpeg/ffserver frontend for KDE.

As a stand-alone application it can:

• play movies from file/url, supporting many popular playlists
• specialized menus for DVD, VCD and experimental TV devices
• play from a pipe
• keep movie sizes ratio
• movie progress slider
• volume control using backends and one using KMix
• resize/fullscreen/minimal mode support
• view on backend console output
• configurable pattern matching for MPlayer and config table for Xine
• recording using mencoder, ffmpeg or 'mplayer -dumpstream'
• proxy settings from konqueror are used to set http_proxy environment variable
• DCOP KMediaPlayer interface support
• VDR frontend through XVideo

It's also a KPart, making it possible to embed in konqueror (preview in Embedded KDE interface for MPlayer) or KHTML
Additionally:

• Multible controls support
